On behalf of all the children, staff and governors, I am delighted and proud to welcome you to Woodcot Primary School.

The children here at Woodcot Primary School are at the heart of everything we do and every decision we make. 

Our vision of ‘Together we Learn and Grow’ underpins everything we do; it creates a sense of belonging and collaboration which enables our children to grow both as learners and individuals. 

Our school values of independence, resilience and consideration thread through our curriculum and enable children to become successful, confident, motivated learners who achieve high standards and become responsible citizens.

We recognise that children should have the best opportunities to strive for academic excellence, which is not limited by background, circumstances or starting points. We also recognise that children should have the best opportunities to develop good character to prepare them for the future and enable them to make good contributions to the community.

We believe that school should be a welcoming place where children feel safe and happy whilst feeling valued and supported. We also believe that children should be confident, inspired and inquisitive - learning from their mistakes and celebrating successes.

Most of all, we believe that all children can be whatever they want to be with no limit to what they can achieve.
